Abstract:

The author analyses the contribution of multi-channel diffusion (multiphonie) in acousmatic composition as well as in terms of the perception of such music by the listener. He details each step of his approach and introduces new musical parameters for the composer, in terms of the principles of multi-channel systems of diffusion, the musical perception for the listener and the relationships with other art forms in intermedia performance.
