Abstract:

The first part contains an introduction on recording techniques for the composer. The second part attempts to answer how to make new sound objects and contains a presentation of different new instruments: Theremin, Ondes Martenot, Hammond Organ, Spherophone, Therevox, Melochord, Klavioline, Ondioline, Trautonium, etc. Finally, he describes four types of transformation devices: beat modulator, ring modulator, sonovox and the vocoder.
