The French composer analyses the musical revolution of electronic music language. He presents how new technology has created a new musical language, its evolution since 1948 to the end of 1950s and the future trends. His explanation is based on examples from musical works by Karlheinz Stockhausen (Studie 1, Studie 2, Gesang der Jünglinge), Luciano Berio (Thema: Omaggio a Joyce) and Henri Pousseur (Scambi).
