Abstract:

The author studies two contradictory aspects of electroacoustic music: the listening experience and capture the sound. He analyses the progressive ideas behind electroacoustic aesthetics through discussions of a new definition of sound material, electroacoustic analysis, synthesis techniques, new forms of perception of real-world sounds, the recording and new technologies.
