This paper describes the role of Gilles Racot’s participation in GRM’s musical program developments. The first part describes the technological background of GRM (from analog to digital, the role of real-time applications, new interfaces). The second part reports one the Racot’s musical experiences with GRM’s digital technologies. He describes musical potential of their programs and links this to his works.
