Abstract:

Through the theory of the “musical situation”, the author describes models of musical cultures. The first two parts examine the models of baroque and classical music. In the last and most important part, the contemporary model, he focuses on electroacoustic music. Jean Molino develops his idea that real-time potential would allow musicians to create new artistic concepts to stop the disintegration of musical language in contemporary music.
