Abstract:

The author analyses the relationships between opera form and digital art. He details the possibilities of an interactive multimedia opera compared to a traditional opera. Finally, he presents his project, Alma Sola, an interactive work for voice and electronic orchestra. This work uses open form and multimedia systems to control the sound with visual information and vice versa.
