Abstract:

In the first part of this paper, the author examines the different models of voice synthesis from synthesis programs to problems of perception. The second part contains a presentation of a number of commercial and experimental voice synthesis programs for electroacoustic or pop music. Finally, she presents the AOIDOAS virtual Greek singer developed at Athens University.
