Abstract:

This paper studies the relationships between music and video in multimedia creation. After a brief introduction on sound/video relations, the author analyses the audio and visual parameters that he uses in the MAX/MSP/Jitter environment through some examples of his electroacoustic/visual piece Time.Mass.Velocity.Light. He develops his study from the idea of “transduction” (Simondon, 1964).
