Abstract:

This paper is an account concerning the technical and musical realisation of certain electroacoustic concerts from 1952 to 1968. The author describes the programme of 12 concerts to investigate the relationships between music works and their technical requirements. He introduces a number of different systems including diagrams and gives us an important historical presentation of loudspeaker orchestras in the 1950s-1960s.
