Abstract:

This short paper presents the main phases of electroacoustic technological evolution in the Paris musique concrète studio from 1948 to 1970. The author discusses the devices he invented and upgraded at the Groupe de Recherches Technologiques, one of three research groups (GRM, GRI, and GRT) until 1974.
