Abstract:

Guy Reibel arrived at the “Groupe Solfège” within the Groupe de Recherches Musicales in 1963. In the 1960s, he worked on the “Solfège de l’objet sonore” and in the 1970s he taught electroacoustic music at the Paris conservatoire with a particular pedagogical method based on musical gesture. Based on these experiences, with Patrice Moullet, he decided to build electroacoustic instruments in the 1990s. These instruments allow the user to play sound objects.
