Nguyên Van Tuong, the father of Vietnam’s musique concrète, worked with Pierre Schaeffer on music for movies. In 1975, Trân Quang Hai collaborated with Nguyên Van Tuong to composed Vê Nguôn, a work for Vietnamese zither, eight channel tape and graphic projection. The author analyses the four parts of this piece and describes the mixture of traditional music and musique concrète.
