Abstract:

An interview with the composer Luc Ferrari. In this article Luc Ferrari discusses his musical background, his affiliation with Pierre Schaeffer’s Groupe de Musique Concrète (GMC) and the various composers who influenced his philosophy, ideas and work. It concludes with his thoughts on the state of musical creativity at the end of the 21st century.
