Abstract:

This paper focuses on the technical and aesthetical evolution of electroacoustic music in Quebec. After a historical introduction concerning the international evolution of electroacoustic music, the author presents the birth of Quebec’s studios, their equipment and the musical foci of different groups, institutions and record producers.
