After a short introduction on the origins of ambient music, the author presents his musical work as influenced by the Roman Architect Vitruvius’ philosophy. In the 1990s, he created sound installations for signal processors, tapes and microphones. To conclude, he presents his installation work Inside the Eye of Silence for harpsichord and digital sounds.
