Abstract:

This article presents information on the Gmebphone (or Cybernéphone) an instrumentarium consisting of amplifiers, sound-treatment systems, loudspeakers, a console, and a processing system designed and built for live diffusion and performance. It discusses specifications, origins, history, development and musical uses.
