This article presents a transcript of the panel discussion that took place in August 1992 at the Nordic Electroacoustic Music Organization (NEMO) festival held at the Danish Institute for Electroacoustic Music (DIEM). The discussion concerns the extent to which, the ways in which, and why changes in composing, performing and listening are specific to computers and/or to other new technologies. The panel members reflect on issues such as; economics and instruments, style, programming and the audience, the death of music, and electronics in live performance.
