Computing Computer Music

In this article, the author discusses some implications concerning the role of the computer in music at that time (1981). He also offers some observations on the interaction between composer and computer, and the extent to which the composer can be drawn into the task of programming computers, rather than merely using them as pre-programmed compositional tools.
