Abstract:

In this interview transcription, soundscape composer Hildegard Westerkamp reflects on her experiences whilst participating in the Zone of Silence Project. The Zone of Silence is a mountain desert area in the Durango State, Mexico that has long been known to Mexican Indians and shaman as a spiritual landscape.
