Abstract:

In this article, the author discusses her approaches towards developing electroacoustic improvisation and composition systems. She focuses on a particular creative performance system called Peppermint and an array of MAX/MSP patches (Dillpatch) that were created to interact with the Peppermint system. Performances that have utilised the system are also discussed.
