Abstract:

In this article Stockhausen describes in detail the construction and operation of two pieces of electroacoustic equipment: the Klangwandler - a further development of the original ‘Modul 1969 A’ and the Rotationstisches used first in Kontakte. Specific settings are introduced as examples thus allowing Stockhausen the opportunity to describe these electroacoustic instruments use within the studio and in the context of concert performance.
