Abstract:

The first part of this paper describes 5 musical parameters: pitch, time, velocity, timbre and space. The second part analyses the characteristics of composed space and spatialisation: the parameters which create space, the relationships between space and techniques, the definition of this new parameter, the role of space within the sound and the interpretation of space.
