Abstract:

This short article discusses the difficult birth of Hungarian electronic music in the 1960s based around the principal composer Zoltan Pongracz. The author concludes with a presentation of new electronic music (ca. 1974-75) the emerged from the studio of Hungarian radio, the first modern studio.
