Abstract:

In this paper, the author details sources of information that are relevant to the composition of trans-human illusions in performance and synthesis research. Using aspects of psychoacoustic modelling, he offers a speculative perspective on the creation of performance systems that are capable of creating a modulation of ability illusion, that is, transitions from human to beyond human performance ability.
