Abstract:

This is the Italian translation of an article originally ublished in Die Reihe, n. 5 in 1959. It is an ample discussion concerning the activity at the Cologne Studio, its composers and scholar activity. It also presents the author’s views on the social impact of electronic music, its compositional techniques and its form. It discusses technical information concerning the notions of sinusoid waves, white noise, impulses, recording, sound transformation and montage.
