The author presents one of the most important digital studios: Studio 123 of Groupe de Recherches Musicales (Paris). He explains the concept, its architecture, and the types transformations composers can make with it. This article is completed with several audio examples from works (Zanési, Savouret, Bayle, Malec) and sound transformations.
