Abstract:

Gilles Racot analyses the essential characteristics of his works Subjestuels (6 percussionists and tape) and Diffluences (piano and tape) under five headers: progressive transformations, linear evolution, curved fluidities, dynamique/morphologie, dynamique/flux curves. Each example is presented with a sonogram and possibilities to hear the instrumental and electronic parts separately.
