Abstract:

The author discusses the relationships between synthesis techniques and the musical language of composers suggesting that sound synthesis is a result of composers’ ideas. He analyses various sonic models of synthesis and demonstrates their use through selected composition examples. At the end of this article, the author presents several synthesis systems.
