Abstract:

The author asks the reader about the experience of digital sound in our actual environment: the place of electroacoustic music in terms of the dominance of more commercial varieties and he is concerned about the standardisation of current digital music, the seemingly growing relationship between commercial and electroacoustic music as well as the gap between the consumer and this form of experimental music.
