The Groupe Recherches Musicales presents a survey of electroacoustic music involving about twenty composers. They focus on four questions:
 What are the three important electroacoustic music issues of the last ten years?
 Could tape electroacoustic tape music disappear due to the growth of live electronics and of popular forms of electronica?
 What are the important conservation issues?
 About the diffusion of electroacoustic music

This book is completed with a glossary of common electroacoustic music terms.
