The author presents the application of brownian movement in the late 1960s electronic music and 1970s instrumental pieces of Iannis Xenakis. Through different works (La Légende d’Eer, Gendy3, Mikka, N’Shima), he explains brownian motion characteristics of the composer’s musical ideas and the relevant realisation methods.
